i have the same problem, my laptop runs on windows 7 home premuim x64, it takes close to 6 minutes for a driver to completely install, it would start by saying 'searching preconfigured driver folders', then it would install about 3 to 5 different drivers, the whole process would span 5 to 6 minutes.
